Delete your account in the Evy app

The fastest method is inside Evy:

1. Sign in to your Evy account.
2. Open Profile and then Settings.
3. Select Account.
4. Select Delete account and follow the confirmation steps.

Your account remains recoverable for 30 days after you request deletion. After this recovery period expires, deletion becomes permanent and the account can no longer be restored.”

Data deleted or anonymised

Once a valid request is completed, we delete or anonymise data associated with the account, including profile information, authentication records, favourites, participation data, notification preferences and content where deletion is appropriate.

Messages or content shared with others may remain in anonymised or limited form where necessary to preserve conversation integrity, safety reports or legal records.

Limited data we may retain

We may retain limited records where necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, abuse investigations, dispute resolution or the protection of rights. Residual copies may remain in encrypted backups until normal backup rotation is complete.

Deletion timeline

We generally complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Encrypted backup copies may remain for up to 90 days before normal rotation. We will inform you if a lawful exception requires a longer period.

Before deleting your account

• Deletion is not the same as logging out or uninstalling the app.
• Events you manage may be removed or detached from your profile.
• Saved favourites, participation history and account settings will no longer be available.
• Download or save anything you need before submitting the request.
