Child Safety Standards
Evy is committed to protecting children and young people from sexual abuse, exploitation, grooming and other harmful behaviour across our platform.
Our commitment
Evy maintains a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking and any behaviour intended to sexually exploit or endanger a child.
These standards apply to all content and interactions on Evy, including event listings, profiles, images, comments, private messages, links and other user-generated content.
Prohibited behaviour
The following behaviour is strictly prohibited on Evy:
- Sexual exploitation, abuse or sexualisation of children.
- Grooming or attempting to establish contact with a child for sexual purposes.
- Sextortion, sexual coercion or threats involving intimate content.
- Soliciting, sharing, producing or distributing sexual content involving minors.
- Facilitating child trafficking or sexual exploitation.
- Attempting to direct users to external platforms for the purpose of exploiting a child.
- Encouraging or assisting others in any of the activities above.
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Child sexual abuse material is strictly prohibited on Evy.
When we become aware of suspected CSAM, we may immediately remove the material, restrict or terminate the associated account, preserve relevant information where legally necessary and take further action required by applicable law.
Users must never upload, forward, reproduce or attempt to obtain CSAM through Evy.
Reporting child safety concerns
Users can report inappropriate or harmful content directly within the Evy application using the reporting tools available on profiles, events, messages and other supported content.
Reports related to child safety are treated as a priority.
If you cannot use the in-app reporting tools, you may contact us directly at info@myevy.app.
If a child appears to be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency or law-enforcement authority. Evy is not an emergency-response service.
Detection and moderation
Evy uses a combination of automated systems and human review to help identify potentially harmful or policy-violating activity.
Automated moderation may assist in identifying suspicious content or behaviour. Where necessary, potentially serious or uncertain cases may be escalated for human review.
No automated moderation system is perfect. Users are therefore encouraged to report concerning activity whenever they encounter it.
Enforcement
Where we identify a violation of these standards, Evy may take action including:
- removing content;
- restricting messaging or other platform features;
- suspending an account;
- permanently terminating an account;
- preserving evidence where legally necessary;
- reporting serious matters to relevant authorities where required or legally appropriate.
Serious child-safety violations may result in immediate account termination without prior warning.
Compliance and cooperation
Evy complies with applicable child-safety laws and responds to valid legal requests from competent authorities.
Where required by applicable law, Evy may preserve or disclose information relevant to investigations concerning child sexual abuse or exploitation.
